Flashback to graphic black, white and colorful celine inspired nails for InStyle magazine
Madeline Poole is a genius when it comes to design — mostly because she executes her vision on the smallest of canvases: nails. Three years ago, after trying the traditional mediums of an artist, she discovered that her digits were the perfect painting surface: small enough to cover quickly, impermanent enough to make experimenting a cinch.
A timely realization, right? Nail art is everywhere now, and her skill at creating gradients, graphic prints, and even tiny replications of Karl Lagerfeld helped her totally own the trend. Poole’s work has been featured in high-profile mags like Vogue, and she was recently named a global ambassador for Sally Hansen. Kudos, girl.
So, when we wanted to give our closet a color upgrade, we went straight to Poole. Her passion for vibrant hues is just what we needed to shake off this never-ending winter. She pulled together five looks that practically scream spring and paired them with tropical PUMA sneaks that are as comfortable as they are cool. Because who says wild color combos should be reserved for nails?
